The following is information from the Whisper Lake Roads & Infrastructure Committee, effective as of June 29, 2023.
Clogged culverts, which cause water to flood and undermine adjacent roads, are contributing to the deterioration of neighborhood roads. As noted in the Whisper Lake Lot Restrictions, home owners have the responsibility of maintaining their culverts and/or swales. This effort helps the POA maintain our roads and manage the cost.
The Whisper Lake Roads and Infrastructure Committee recently inspected all driveway/road connections in our neighborhood. Most often, the culvert is partly or completely clogged and needs to be cleaned out. In some cases, however, a repair or a new culvert is required.
A list of those culverts with at least one issue that needs to be corrected has been compiled, and those homeowners are being contacted and requested to have the necessary maintenance or the necessary repairs completed by October 15, 2023. When completed, confirmations of the corrections are asked to be sent to Dennis Tribble, Chairman of the Whisper Lake Roads & Infrastructure Committee for review and to record the completed correction on the committee’s master list.
We thank those contacted in advance for their prompt attention in this matter. If any assistance or clarification of the corrections are needed, please
