We wanted to share with you some information that has come through this morning regarding the current water outage.
The outage, which began on Sunday, Dec. 21st around 6am, occurred as a result of a water main break in the Narrows Road vicinity of Holly Forest 2. CWS has had to break through and bust up rock to access the busted pipe, which was laid between two rocks when it was originally installed. The crew worked all day yesterday and throughout the night, but because of the geographical bind of the pipe, attempts to fix any leaks have only resulted in others.
The crew is now needing to source additional materials, which they are in the process of procuring. Work will continue throughout the day until the problem is resolved, but there are no firm estimates available at this time.
We understand how much of an inconvenience this is, but please know that every effort is being made to resolve the issue. We will share more information as/if we receive it.
