Last November we conducted a survey and determined that there was strong interest in creating a Concierge internal medicine clinic in Cashiers. 75% of the respondents wanted to see it happen. As a result, Vision Cashiers has worked with a skilled group to create the clinic and here are the details:
- Blue Ridge Premier Medicine, a concierge clinic in Asheville with 2,100 patients and seven physicians, has committed to open a new concierge internal medicine clinic in Cashiers.
- The name is Plateau Concierge Medicine
- The planned opening is this Fall, 2026
- The planned location is the Health Clinic building on White Owl Lane in Cashiers.
- It will have two skilled internal medicine physicians (one male, one female), two nurses and a manager.
- Accessibility-
- 24/7 direct access to your physician from anywhere you are
- Same-day or next-day visits for acute concerns, reducing ER/urgent care use.
- Acute care will be available for visiting adult family and friends (over 18 years of age)
- In-depth visits-
- Initial “meet and greet” with your doctor
- 2-3 hours for new patient exams
- Comprehensive evaluation of medical issues and preventive care
- Coordination of all medical, surgical, and mental health specialists, especially if elsewhere
- Participating in Medicare and most private insurers
- Plateau Concierge Medicine is committed to significant charitable giving in Jackson County
- All patients will have access to expedited expert care through the HealthNetwork Foundation. This is a premier national facility granting fast access to over 30 of the best world-class care centers in the USA.
